Piccolino Restaurant

I recently had a delightful evening at their recently renovated restaurant. The decor and lighting is truly award winning, with beautifully warm tones and wood panels. We shared pizzas between our table. They were reasonably priced, and the recommended lamb pizza in particular was a stand out. Great place for a catchup with friends, I will definitely be going back

I really needed a night out and this place was the perfect location for a mid week after work relax. The food, wine, staff and the very sociable owner were just lovely. At Piccolino you are instantly comfortable as you walk through the large glass door and greated by a friendly waiter. As you wait for your table your eyes are captivated by the tall wooden interior with black scafolding and warm orange lighting. The walls are carefully crafted and very uniquely shaped pieces of wood laid side by side like a puzzle which sweep around the whole place joining the walls to the very high roof. The pattern and light color of the wood softens the enormity of the structure bringing warmth, comfort but a sense of space to the patron. The building stands tall amongst the small shops huddling on each side of a even smaller shopping strip. Looking from the outside the building weirdly blends with the neighboring shops as if it wasn't there. This place is one of a kind. The feeling of this beautiful place is a hard to put into words and I will do it no justice but gosh you just have to at least walk through the front door to see the design for yourself.

What a cute little eat out in the suburbs. Not one complaint over the food. Service was efficient.

Nice food and atmosphere. Prompt service with choices for wide range of taste and preferences. But if a group you may get the 'move on' for the next sitting

One of the best looking italian restaurants in Mount Waverly. Pretty decent quality of food for $20-30 per dish.

Part of a group of 8. The venue looks amazing. The staff were tentative and knowledgeable. The menu had a great selection and the food was faultless. Well done everyone.

Worst customer service and very rude

Why 1 star? The star is only for the interior design. Other than that... Forget it... How they can serve a food taste like canteen or foot court food but charge the price like close to Gradi? Do the food taste like Italian authentic food.... No... It taste one step lower than Sofia... Service-wise.... The waitress will just humiliate you... Pushy... Very uncomfortable... Only one waitress is in good manner... Yes just 1 out of 7. The manager is the worst people in this restaurant. He is arrogant and rude...I just sit next to a Asian backgrounds customer, he is rude to the customer... He humiliated the customer... Can you believe he said to the customer, like it or not... We can't do anything.... Common.. Dear owner, how you hire this guy? Or this guy is part of the shareholders? Then let's see how this place going to keep their customers. So... 1 out 5 is good enough... Just don't bother to come...
