Pho Flinders

So delicious and inexpensive. I live a block away and I regret not trying it sooner. I love the vegetarian pho, daily really like the banh mi and the fried rice with pork.

Ate here twice recently and felt sick afterwards on both occasions. The sliced chilli was decomposing and the lime wedge looked like it had been cut days earlier. The broth didn't taste like it was a long simmer, and no flavour of spices were in the beef Pho. The service was quick and dining area was o.k I had eaten at this cafe previously when it was on the other side of Flinders Street and I enjoyed the food then. Need to find another Vietnamese restaurant now as I like Pho, but not where you get sick.

I really like the taste of the Pho from this restaurant and it’s been my go to place for over a year now. However recently I’ve been having incidents where I found hair on my Pho soup. This happens from time to time, total of 3 incidents now. (Twice before lockdown and now today). It seems to be when I order the “Beef brisket and tendon” from the menu. They were always quick to replace the soup and apologetic about it. But today even the replacement noodle soup still had hair inside... I didn’t want to cause further drama because there were customers ordering... Sorry for the terrible review but definitely have to fix the hair hygiene issue in the kitchen. Great tasting food though.

Food is lovely but the prices for drinks are not set out on the menu properly. You think your ordering one thing to be charged for another.
