Overall 4.2/5 Would have given this 4.5 if not for their poor customer service. I understand that it can get quite busy but one of the staff was just plain rude. Slamming bottle of water on the table and rolling their eyes when I ask them for the menu. 🫤 Anyway, the Chilli chicken is crispy and crunchy despite being coated with chilli sauce. Recommend to eat it with rice as the taste can get too overwhelming(sweet). We also ordered the special crumbed oyster& octopus croquette which was soso. The homely chicken and prawn stir fry noodle was amazing. The wok hei is STRONG and the seasoning was just perfect! We also order their matcha custard pancake, which the custard was nice and not too sweet but the matcha ice cream was cheap and you know it’s a gourmet matcha ice cream.(so it’s not worth the price for me) We went when the restaurant just opened, 20min in and the restaurant is half-filled so reservation is highly recommended.
Love the food here. The crispy honey beef was impressive; so tender and had the most crisp sweet batter. The popcorn chicken was crispy but the oil was slightly strong. Look forward to coming back.
We had to wait over 20 minutes to get our meals when the restaurants only had 5 tables who already had their meals. There were more interested in serving takeaway. Pretty slow just to fry some noodles
Amazing place and great service. We really enjoyed the flavours and the iced tea is great.
Friendly service, tasty food. Takes Amex.
Staff were friendly and knew the menu well, nice and cosy inside and very busy if you want a table (which is a good sign), food was absolutely magnificent and was left feeling full and satisfied but not heavy or bloated. Keep up the great work! I'll be back 👌 fyi wusabi Mayo prawns are a must!
Very consistent food. Haven't changed since 2002. Ordered pop chicken and crispy honey beef. Still very very good.
Braised pork rice is not bad, pickles are the finishing touch Fried chicken is very tasteless, like eating karage in a small Japanese shop... Tasteless fried chicken with mayo... The menu is very simple, it’s okay to eat if you live nearby, but I’m a bit disappointed when you come here specially…
You can eat Taiwanese food in a nice atmosphere with a neat interior. The taste is all good and the price is about $20, so it's good to eat casually. If I was in the city, I think I'd go there very often😵💫❤️
Taiwanese restaurant. It was also a bit salty for my taste. If you have a normal appetite or a salty eating style, this is the place to go. A friend who went with me also complimented me on how delicious it was. In addition to Taiwanese cuisine, they also serve Japanese cuisine. There can be a wait because there are a lot of people in the evening.
