Papadino's Katoomba

Been going here for years, but I felt obliged to leave a review in light of seeing all the B.S. 1 star reviews from folks who reckon the universe revolves around em or don't understand how the place works. Absolutely stunning service, staff are always polite and helpful. Food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is always lovely! Very busy joint so be aware of lengthy wait times (that can't be helped), and the occasional entitled customer (see all the 1 aforementioned reviews for a good laugh). They do not take bookings, first come first served n all that so keep that in mind. Basically, you'll have a lovely time as long as you're not an entitled difficult customer expecting your food to come out immediately, understand that you need to order and/or pay at the counter, and know that this is a busy place where the staff always work hard. The food and service have always been well worth the money in my experience, best pizza joint in Katoomba!

Food was better than a lot of 'italian' restaurants I've been to around Sydney. Had a margarita pizza and carbonara which were both very good. If there was any critique, a little too much pepper and not enough parmesan cheese on the pasta. Service was a bit slow granted it was a public holiday. Would come back again.

4.5 Rating Given the fact it was busy for a Saturday. It was much worth the wait. The macho supreme pizza and 1kg steak was definitely a great portion size for a couple of gym friends who need some serious meat. Family atmosphere is great and food was superb; could improve slightly on the table service and ordering times. Highly recommend😛😍😍

My family attended on sat night of Mother’s Day weekend the back of house staff in kitchen where working in a fast paced kitchen and food was amazing very good however our waitress was awkward and rude the add stated colour pencils for children I was cut to shreds when I asked also I know Covid is hard on everybody but while waiting to be seated children touched outside chair and she got angry upset and told me she had to clean outside setting as child had touched it which she did with one dirty looking cloth very upset as I could not relax and my bill being $185 thought this was a family restaurant thro out weekend all other food outlets where amazing polite welcoming

I've been here a few times. We have been lucky but it can be tough to get a seat. Service can be slow at times. The food is awesome! They are BYO so that makes it easier!

The place was amazing. They catered to my dairy and gluten free allergies. Food was yummy. The staff and the service was great. Definitely will come back next time I am in katoomba 😀

Good paste and lasagna, but not the best I have ever eaten. It might need to be salted a little bit more.

They said my take away margarita pizza would take 20-30 minutes. It’s been nearly an hour standing out front and I still don’t have it. I can’t tell you how it is because I might never get it. I’m giving two stars because they very quickly took my money.

I had the 500g Rib Eye & my wife had the Lamb. I’ve eaten a lot of meat in my life but this would have to be the BEST meat I have ever ever had in my life. The meat was medium rare (the way meat should be cooked) and the knife literally fell through the meat when cutting. It was an absolute taste sensation in my mouth. I had it with Peppercorn sauce. It was simply AMAZING! Well done Chef 😁👍 The waitresses were also amazing, keeping everyone safe enforcing Covid rules and tending to our every needs. Best restaurant in Katoomba. We’ll be back again, that’s for sure 12/10 for food & service.
