Papa Gino's Pizza Restaurant

Been going here since I was old enough to eat solids. This is my family go-to. They don't stand outside sprooking customers and pushing you to eat there like everyone else on Lygon. Staff are lovely with a sense of humour, the pizzas are cooked so quickly and they're delicious! The pasta is amazing too and you get it with free bread. Their steak game is pretty flat, but if you're going to Lygon Street for steak, that's your 1st mistake right there so stick to the Italian food and you'll love it.

Though it was busy hours, we didn't order much as we already had some food. We had only pizza, they offered us very good service. Pizza was excellent, kind of reminds of Italy!

Papa Gino's was just perfect ! Amazing service even when busy. We ordered the lasagna and cream fungi ravioli. Both excellent.

Based on the crowd i expected it to be really good italian food but to be honest it was very average. I ordered a pizza and pasta which both lacked flavor. The Tiramisu cake was however a decent treat. Portions were fantastic.

I didn't like the steak But lasagna was amazing and it's enough for 2 Pizza is good too

I went with some friends on Saturday night. They ate pasta and I had pizza. Their pasta was good and my pizza was just normal, similar the one that you buy at Coles and make in the oven.

Have been coming here since the 80's. The food is tasty, the service is efficient & friendly & the atmosphere is always buzzing. Great value for money. You don't leave this place hungry!!

This is one of best in Lygon Street for a no fuse good value meal. Seafood marinara is the best. Even better with the garlic sauce. Great value.

Excellent mixed seafood spaghetti. Large portion. Fried calamaris came with light & crunchy coating. Very happy with this meal! Thanks!
