Palais Hotel

I've been here before and on a normal basis this is a really lovely place however on this current visit the Palais had the football on which meant people were shouting and whistling and carrying on. My date and I left because we could barely even speak. We didn't eat on this visit so I can't comment on that but don't go if there is a showdown on unless you're keen on the football.

Fabulous accommodating staff. Small gathering for my 94 year old Mother in law in a wheelchair was made so easy with your help. Thank you. Food and coffee was delightful also. We'll done. 😃

Went here for the first time after the renovations have been done. The kids meals are very good and not a tiny serving, service for the kids meals was very fast. Staff are really friendly and the set up of the venue is nice. Alot of options for seating, indoors, outdoor or something in the middle. The mains meals were tasty and this is somewhere I would recommend and return. Great selection both food and drinks.

Really nicely renovated space that looks out towards the ocean. Great beer prices. Their happy hour is awesome and they often have a do playing. Very beautiful building.

Had the Palais burger. Very tasty and chips were delicious. But burger was served in a bowl. I find its easier to eat burger when I deconstruct it. Difficult to do in a bowl

This old girl is a great venue, the food is lovely and location is sensational, but my only gripe would have to be that she needs to dress more appropriately at meal times - the blue fluoro lighting and giant screen in the beer garden dining really detracts from your dining experience when you have trouble seeing the colour of your food, and you can't look at your fellow diners because a bright screen is backlighting them - and it was only Wednesday night...no nightclub then. Perhaps this old party girl could shake off her night club clothes when she's acting like a restaurant, and light herself back up when the music starts?

Kids meals were very generously sized, the adult meals were great, one of our orders was brought out wrong but immediately fixed. Good price excellent location and the staff were great, we will be dining here again. Thankyou

Great food, very generous serves, fantastic location.

Would never go to this place ever in my entire life. The food wasn't good as they used to, the waitress was sassy looking at how we dress. She sent out wrong order even when she repeated what I've ordered. Really upset of how they treated and solved our problem. Worst experience!

Good food. Music too loud to be able to talk.
