PACHINKO

Awesome food, spanning the breadth of asian/western fusion.. friendly service and drinks. Make sure to book ahead or offer to sit outside for a while to secure a last minute booking. worth the wait🌶

Firstly this place is uber cool, located in Quadrant Mall in Launceston. Secondly the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Thirdly, the food is really good. We had the tuna sashimi, the vegetable pickles, the agedashi tofu and the green bean tempura for starters. All these meals were exceptional, with the standouts for me being the pickles and agedashi tofu. We followed that with the fried eggplant with miso and the corn in miso butter. Both were exceptional. My traveling companions loved the eggplant, while the corn was my favourite. Matching perfectly with the food was the wine we ordered, a chilled 2020 Havilah 'Real Light Red' from the Tamar. It was very good and was part of a very interesting wine list. Finally desert was a real winner. I loved the Vietnamese coffee inspired dessert, and our traveling companion thought the ice cream sandwich was the bomb. This place definitely comes recommended!

If you want to have real jp food ... definitely don't go there. Plus the dishes are just mixture of anything, the portion is small considering the high price. One star is for service.

Yum! Great food. The sashimi and Hibachi fish were the highlights but all good was great.

Went for lunch, food was outrageously good Japanese fusion. Owner was kind enough to take the time to educate us about sake, and even allowed us to have dessert even though it is only on the dinner menu. The Vietnamese coffee based dessert is a must try. An eclectic wine list as well. Shame 6 stars not possible to give.

This place is great! The food is really tasty and inventive, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's a really cozy atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

The atmosphere, the meal, the highball drinks and most of all the friendly service. There was a young lady who just started with Pachinko on the night we visited who was an absolute spark of joy to be served by which made the highball drinks all the more enjoyable. compliments to the chef and staff.Would highly recommend dining at Pachinko.

A little corner of the outdoor mall that surprised us with delicious meals -- 100% recommend their cocktails and their meat dishes!

Pachinko serves delicious Japanese fusion small and medium dishes in a fun atmosphere. Service was impeccable and every dish we had was amazing. The peaches and cream dessert is literally the best dessert I've ever had. Pachinko is a must when visiting Launceston.
