Delicious fish and chips, shop might not look much but the food makes up for it. Also a huge range of different seafood. This place is worth the stop.

I had a lovely, Tassie seafood meal at this quaint chinese fish and chips shop at Swansea.

The shop has changed hands in recent times and doesn't cater well for locals or really anyone with some seafood awareness, instead targeting international traffic, probably tour buses. We tried them anyway as part of our short stay in area it seemed OK, flathead pieces were decent and probably fresh, but with minimal chips provided. The person behind counter couldn't answer where any of the fish comes from, a red flag. There are other better options available in town.

Friendly service, terrible food. Fish dry and chewy, chips had a bitter flavour like fried in old oil. Very disappointed.

Taste not too bad but not worth the price

Went for a quick bite on our way to hobart. First of all, the place stinks. Service was good and friendly. However i've had the worst fish and chips here in my life, literally. They used supermarket frozen fish out of the pack. The oil hasn't been changed for at least 2 weeks. A seafood basket cost more than 34 dollars consists of mostly supermarket frozen precoated seafood and the basket it comes in was greasy and dirty. Oyster doest taste fresh either. I seriously have no clue why this place is still running.

Friendly staff and nice food

Ok this restaurant is DOESN'T DESERVE ANY STARS AT ALL. The food was terrible the flakes was so grizzy and its so horrible to eat. For 2 flakes and small chips was $20. When we ate the fish it was so grizzy and we can't eat it. So we give it back to them but this man who has a muscular body and tall he was shouting at us and putting his middle finger to our face, so dad decided to call the council.
