Cnr Bridge Street Chalmers Street 2281, Swansea

Great water views to the channel and reasonable food.

Kate's Berry Farm
4.3
/ 557

12 Addison St 7190, Swansea

I've been to Kate's Berry Farm several times, and enjoyed it every time. Great icecreams, and lots of other goodies too. Kate's lovely to talk with (if you can catch her!), and it's amazing to see what she has done there through her determination. Ignore those older reviews complaining that there were no berries - clearly those people aren't familiar with the concept of seasons (!!).... If you're not sure, just give them a call before heading there! It's definitely worth a visit :-)

Bark Mill Tavern & Bakery
4.1
/ 580

96 Tasman Hwy 7190, Swansea

Bakery, Cafe, Bistro, Tavern, Situated Main highway Swansea, a very modern, light bright, spacious Cafe/bakery, Tavern. Out doors an open dedicated Al fresco area, playground, with ample parking. For food, drink, relaxing and bakery supplies, this bakery would be difficult to pass. The quality of breads, pastries, biscuits, buns, cakes, quiche, gourmet filled rolls etc, is as the locals would tell you, "The best on the East Coast". We throughly enjoyed both a scallop & currie, and a chunky steak Pie, freshly baked, accompanied by a great coffee. The coffee is, Mocopan Pasquade, winner coffee blend 2007, by a very good barista. On offer an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, with hot and cold drinks. The uniqueness of this venue makes it a must visit. The Bakery is open 6am - 4pm 7 days.

As with most shops that make their chips, they are having issues sourcing good quality potatoes this time of year. But they do good chips for the spuds they are dealing with. Burgers and fish are great.

Swansea RSL Bistro
4.3
/ 53

2 Noyes St 7190, Swansea

Good old RSL, cannot really go wrong. Locals know best. Quaint RSL, warm friendly atmosphere. Basic menu, just the std parmy, steak, tassie scollop with salad or chips. My wife had the scollops, which were a hit. I had the Parmy, this was ok, they just needed to cook the bacon a little bit more on the top. Std pub prices for meals. Menu was a bit small, but this the little hamlet of Swansea, so I will let that pass. If you want a nice RSL, with a homely atmosphere, where you blow in for a overnight stay, and are considered a local after 5 minutes. Then this is the place. :)

yummy scones great milk shakes for the kids and a really nice outdoor seating area.

Oyster Bay Seafood

40 Franklin St 7190, Swansea

Most places in Australia do beer battered fish for their fish and chips. That's OK if your fish tastes like crap. But you lose the flavor of the fish if it's good. Oyster Bay offers breaded fish or battered. The breading is lighter, allowing the fish to shine through. They also offer four different fish to choose from for their fish and chips. Excellent chips too!

Coastal Wholefoods | Cafe & Health Grocer

2 Franklin St 7190, Swansea

A beautiful array of health and eco-conscious foods. Also the best coffee we've had on the East Coast! Particular shoutout to a fantastic almond milk flat white 👌

Piermont Homestead Restaurant
5.0
/ 2

12990 Tasman Hwy 7190, Swansea

We stayed at Piermont for our honeymoon and it was spectacular! The food at the homestead was excellent! We stayed in the Honeymoon spa studio which had a perfect open wood fire place which was set up for our arrival. The spa was nothing spectacular however with such an impressive fire place, we spent our whole time in the room in front of it ! The honeymoon spa studio is a private cottage, not a joining to any others. It has great views of the water and from a slightly set back vantage point.

The Swansea Hotel

192 Pacific Hwy 2281, Swansea

Had the $16 Szechuan Pepper Squid and paid an extra $2 for chips to make it a main meal. Squid was tender and not chewy, (& not too spicy) chips were cooked perfectly and the salad was very tasty as well. Warning though, the salad had peanuts in it for those with allergies. Didn't have to wait long for our meals and staff were nice. Adding to my last review, my mother had her birthday party here last night and both the kitchen and bar staff looked after us very well. Nothing was a bother and the price of the catering was great value. Highly recommend having a party or event here and I still give it five stars.
