Odyssea City Beach

The food was exceptional. I had a Scotch fillet and it was tender as. Not many places know how to cook a good steak. Service was excellent. The desserts were great as well.

Can’t say they are using the best almond milk in their coffees, but they are super friendly here and child friendly, so if your planning a takeaway down at the beach you can’t really go wrong, unless you drink almond coffee 😊

Honestly super average... Got turned down for inside table when it was freezing and raining outside. And there were seats available.. we sat outside and food came out after 40 mins. Cocktails were not on point. And also I didn't like the fact that while we waited tables became open inside and noone thought to invite us inside even though it was extremely windy and raining. Had to send back cocktail as it tasted like cocoa powder and water mixed. Food was really average for so many positive reviews.

I’ve been here a few times over the years and usually don’t have any complaints. We didn’t book and got a table easily. The Balcony has lovely views but the sun can be blinding. May some awnings would be helpful. We ordered some bread to start and my husband watched as this was taken for the station on the balcony and delivered to us. The waitress had just finished moving chairs and wiping tables and it didn’t appear that any gloves were used. We ordered the special Prawn and Squid Fritters. There were 4 and at $18 was disappointing but not as disappointing as the lack of flavour. It didn’t even look like there was any seafood at all. We also had the Tortillas with Korean Crispy Chicken which was very nice. I had the Papparadelle and the side Potatoes. Both were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Given the address - set on the beach where sunsets are magic - my expectations were high. Does Odyssea live up to expectations? Short answer is Yes, despite the silly name, this is a place worth visiting. Great coffee, superb cocktails, food which is as good as its sounds, the description of dishes on the menu actually match the dishes that served. WoW

If you’re looking for somewhere with a nice view, this place is it but don’t expect much from the food, it was very disappointing.

Won't be back in a hurry. Had two flat beers served to me...granted they were out of cans but still. We have been here before and have had flat drinks served to us. Ordered the scotch fillet medium/rare and it was close to well done. This is the second time in a row I've ordered steak here and it hasn't been cooked correctly. Service was also quite slow for a half full restaurant. It's disappointing as it used to be such a great restaurant, they should be providing an exceptional experience with that awesome seaside setting. Pretty typical of Perth hospitality, a bit of a let down.
