Northbeach Pavilion

I’ve been coming to your restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed the food and service. This last visit was not the best for my family. It was hard to be served (considering we have 2 hours) unless we flagged someone to stop. It was a new menu and there was a pizza on the we just could not eat due to the cheese used. Your waitress kindly said that feedback is good for this new menu and the chef had advised her if there was something else we would like. At this time we just said we wanted desert and said one serve of doughnuts. We ordered our other desert and coffee. Coffee didn’t come but we enjoyed our dessert. I tried to make eye contact to ask for my coffee but we felt we were avoided. It wasn’t until after two hours was at that someone did come to our table and asked us if there was anything else we wanted and we just said the bill I said don’t charge us for the coffee because it didn’t come. The person was very apologetic and offered us a free one to take away and I declined because by this time I have made up my mind that we wouldn’t be coming back we also noticed that the offer of replacing our pizza with one dessert was still charged to us too. The reason I said I had made my mind up and weren’t coming back was because it was my husband’s first experience and this day was really not a great day as Service was very lacking and some of our mains food was not the best.

I ordered the pork pasta special. It tasted awful and was presented like a bowl of dog food. The pork mince had hard bits in it and I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. I would not recommend going here !

Love this place, the staff have those Spanish and Italian accents you hear when you are in Spain and Italy and they’re so helpful. They come around just the right amount of times. Everything is brought out promptly. Their cocktails are always delicious and the food speaks for itself when it comes out on your plate. It is all 5 star amazing!

My family and I love this place! Besides the atmosphere and the wonderful service, the food is delicious and affordable. It is our place to go every Sunday.

The food and service are impeccable. The Caprese salad with kale was my favourite, but everything was fabulous. The service is just right and with no rushing to get you out in a certain time frame - perfectly Italian. The building is one of the finest beach pavillion locations and it is has been lovingly restored - love the oversize glass louvres. Such a pleasure. Thank you

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The tuna steak was amazing! I gave it 4 stars though because I hate being forced to give my credit card details with the threat of being charged per person if I have to cancel within 12 hours.
