Great cellar door venue we had a great platter and tasted some great wines, like to return later in the evening for pizza

Took over an hour to get all the wines from the tasting flight. Wines came out in no order (started with the Shiraz). When we questioned why the reds were coming first, we were told “that’s just the way we do it here”. Then another staff member apologised and clarified that’s not how they do it. Before we got all our wines, we were told they were closing in 10 minutes (2 hours earlier than their usual closing time). Such potential, but the staff had no knowledge of the wines or standard customer service etiquette.

Good place for coffee and cake. Platters are available and the wine is good.

Really beautiful area with a great set up! Their Cab Sav was absolutely delicious. But unfortunately the inexperienced staff had a bad day. The cheeses on the grazing platter were amazing but unfortunately the dips were pretty bad.

Went in and asked to do a wine tasting and was told that they are too busy with food currently and there may be a long wait to do so. Surely they could have put wine tasting glasses out, put different wines to taste in each glass, and left us to discuss what we wanted to purchase whilst they tried to organise themselves. We therefore ordered coffees and cake. After waiting 45 minutes for a coffee, we asked if we could have the coffees as take away. Cakes that were also ordered, could have at least have been brought out but had to get the cakes to go. They were not overly busy for a cafe, had 2 staff (assumed it was the owners?) fussing about a wood fire pizza oven, another staff member walking around looking like he was lost, leaving another 2 staff behind the counter to take orders, bring the orders out to the tables, and handle the "wine tastings". Seems other people were having similar experiences to us. Wouldnt go back.

Have been several times in the past and loved it. But they have lost the plot recently. Phone app gives the familiar summer menu and prices. But we arrived today, in summer to be told they were offering a spring menu (prices seemed significantly higher) and, oh sorry, we’ve run out of food! 1.30pm on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon and yep, they’d literally run out of food. Unless we were willing to wait for them to fire up the wood oven pizza place out back. And we could of course buy some of their (very ordinary) wine. We came for share platters and a glass of wine, we left agog that what had always been a reliable local winery could have gone so badly down hill so fast
