Nikos

I am so glad that they opened a Nikos in Fairfield. The Oakleigh one is great but it is on the opposite side of the city so I am not there often. This one still has a great selection of Greek and continental cakes. When it comes to Greek desserts, they are second to none.

Whilst the staff were lovely and the cake was amazing, unfortunately we had some slight issues with our wedding cake. Mel was amazing during the appointment and we were told that we can pay the remaining amount when we pick up the cake and that if we needed the cake delivered we can advise a day out of the wedding. Sadly I received numerous phone calls and messages from Sophia chasing me for payment which is fine but the communication within the team needs to improve, being chased for money during an already stressful time is not ideal even after I had explained everything. Furthermore when I arrived to drop off the flowers and pay they remaining amount owing no one could find my order or cake (a day out from the wedding) as no name was attached to the cake, then I was advised that they cannot deliver our wedding cake despite what we were told earlier but Nikos did offer to help put the 4 tier wedding cake into our cake. Sadly I find out that no help was provided to our family who had to pick up the cake and furthermore Nikos advised my family that the cake had not been paid for and they needed to pay! As I said the staff are lovely and food is great but the communication piece and record keeping really needs to be improved.

The service is great no complaints. The cakes were very good, couldn't fault. The milkshakes are a bit too sweet but it's kind of expected that a milkshake would be on the sweeter side. Crazy busy though so avoid if you want something intimate. Definitely a big family catchup kind of place.

Didn't get to eat in but had been meaning to try this place for a long time upon recommendations from others. Staff were lovely. The selection was immense! The sweets were as they should be, but the vegan spinach scroll thing (pide?) I had I thought was lacking in filling and seasoning.

Good food good service. Costa is a credit to Nikos. We go there every week. 6 stars

The Hellenic Mecca of Fairfield coffee and sweets. However one less star from perfect as three coffees were requested as “extra hot” and it was barely warm. Would still come back but would send the coffee back (if it wasn’t hot).

Very enjoyable experience, beautiful food and cakes. Coffee was strong and service was quick. Loved the fact we weren't rushed out also, even though we were there for quite some time.

Amazing cakes, breakfast is nice and coffee is ok but the cakes which they are know for are so so good. We'll buy our daughters next birthday cake from here for sure. Pics are of the individual cheesecake and passionfruit sunrise (?) that we devoured and some birthday cakes that were on display.
