Friendly Japanese staff, and reasonably priced food. I had katsu kare, pork katsu was crispy and tender, and curry was typical japanese style curry, light on the spice and a little sweet. Good beer selection and quick and efficient service. Would definitely return when I’m in the area.

I love quality Japanese good and cannot believe I didn't know this place existed! The seafood is incredibly fresh, with each mouthful full of flavour! The Japanese family who run this restaurant are very friendly! It's tucked away but an absolute hidden gem! We were able to bring our dog while sitting outside. Highly recommend it and we will definitely be back!

Shop front is a bit old but the food is amazing and relatively cheap compared to some other restaurants. Great service from staff and can't stress enough how good the food is.

To start, whoever reads this please note: this place is a hidden treasure. I was recommended by a colleague to try this restaurant, but when we led by Google map and arrived, we couldn't even find the place, hidden among ordinary shops, we had our doubts, from where we were standing, I don't think there should be any good restaurants. You know you found it the moment you try their food, from the flavors the presentation even the services just remind me my beautiful memories in Japan. What's better is they also server coffee where most of the Japanese restaurants don't, I just loved this place even more.

We found this gem at a whim and discovered the best sushi and sashimi --bar none --especially for the price of entry. I don't think I've known another place that I happily spent more for the pleasure of tasting more. We have come here time and time again only to be impressed by the quality and variety of food in their bento boxes, the freshness and obvious care they have for their sashimi, and the authentic, small eatery feel that takes us right back to Japan, in many ways as good as or even better than the places we'd been to there. Even their cakes were delicious, flawlessly presented, and topped with the freshest fruit. We could tell that the people here take great pride in their work, and I am floored by how they do all the simple things extremely well. I'm always so grateful for the pleasure of eating here. What an amazing place for genuine, Japanese fare served by great people. It's definitely our favourite go-to in our area for special occasions.
