The yummiest Indian food in Melbourne and a beautiful family run business. We have been hanging to get back here after lockdown! We love ordering extra and taking some home for the week.

I’d give it 5⭐️ if they were a little more consistent. Very earthy and bold flavours. The naan is amazing. Great flavour balance and enjoyable heat. The Kadai curries can be a little underwhelming. But generally this is one of the nicest amongst the abundant Indian restaurants in Fitzroy. The Thali box is a great way to enjoy this restaurant.

Visited Mukka in January 2021. The food was incredible, we were left asking for more. One of the best places to have Indian food in Melbourne. We had ordered a couple of cocktails with Chicken Tikka and Gobi Manchuria for appetisers. This was followed by Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala and Roti. Brilliant taste and service. The level of spice was perfect; and the price matches with the portion size.

Everything was good. Except chicken tikka which was undercoked. Although i mentioned to be well done 2 times. Waheeda sour was my best cocktail so far.

Honestly my review wouldn’t do this place justice.. the food is great the sides are great, staff are amazing! But one thing that tops it off for me is the butter chicken.. I know what your thinking psshhhttt this guy butter chicken is butter chicken BUT NO this butter chicken is the BEST and I’ve tried dozens, believe me I’m not 120kg for no reason I love food and know what’s good when I taste it! NO REGRATS XX

Found out about Mukka through a friend and visited for the first time last week. So, the rumours were true. It is the finest Indian restaurant in Melbourne. The dosa was exactly what I had in India. Double Thums up.

Visited Mukka for the first time last week, had the most amazing experience. Service was excellent throughout the entire night and most importantly the food was super delicious! Will definitely be going back for more😋
