Classy pub with an open fireplace. Great food and top notch service. Great atmosphere for a casual date night.

We had dinner with friends on valentines night and we’re so disappointed- they forgot one of our entrees the steak was well done and we ordered medium rare and even though the staff were helpful they were dressed in street clothes so it was hard to tell who was staff and one girl had short shorts on which seems inappropriate for a dining venue The oysters were delicious and so was the bread Not sure I would have dinner here again

Unfortunately not an enjoyable experience. Our waitress was sullen, bored and rude. After being seated for 10 minutes she asked if we were ready to order, we asked for a little more time and she old us "no there is a time limit" and kept standing there. My friend asked if she could please have the steak and swap the chips for mash (as its on the menu as a side). The answer was a "no we can't do that". So instead of ordering the $48 steak she ordered the $24 pasta . There is no reason chips cannot be swapped out for mash in any restaurant anywhere. On receiving the pasta we asked for some parmesan cheese, that was another ordeal, she would have to check with the kitchen if that was ok!! Sad that one waitress can spoil what should have otherwise been a good experience. Management needs to look at the type of staff they are employing.

What an amazing spot for a beer, lunch or dinner. The food is top quality. Highly recommended. The saying you get what you pay for applies here.

We love this hotel and have frequented it many times but our most recent visit was awful. The (male, balding) Manager in the dining room was rude, arrogant and was openly having "words" with his staff. It was so, SO awkward. Before we even sat down or were handed a menu he asked what we wanted to drink and almost seemed annoyed when we asked for a minute to decide. We will not be back as long as he is there.

The lamb rump, roasted cauliflower and croquettes were superb! 5/5 Fish and chips were not bad, specifically the tartare sauce was delish (4/5) Calamari was alright (2/5), and the chicken schnitzel was meh, bit tasteless and bland even with the buffalo cheese (1/5) Overall, the food is a tad pricey for the portions. The service was great, and the ambience is nice - though it may get a bit loud indoors at night.

Went for the $25 Sunday roast. Heard it was good. It's AMAZING

Great food, tables well spaced out from each other. Wait staff very attentive. Food came out very quickly. Awesome place to have a Sunday session!

My friends and I shared an amazing meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Wait staff were exceptional.
