Mother Yen

I want to like this place as the food was good and authentic, and the whole place has a lovely and family vibe. However, my friend and I had pork chop and crispy chicken for dinner at this place 3 days ago. Few hours later, he suffered from a mild case of diarrhea and stomach pain while I’ve actually gotten food poisoning. I have taken 2 days off work and possibly another day tomorrow because of fatigue, diarrhea and loss of appetite. Seriously, please be considerate and put hygiene matter and safety of the customers your priority!

The food was amazing and service from this one little girl was incredible she was so nice but someone had to give me the food instead of her because she was to short. Keep up the good work hopefully the little girl can grow to reach the table I don't know how to write a new review but pretend this is new review. the second time i went to mother yen, jeremai served me and i could see an improvement in height because this time I could see her ponytail sticking up from the table. The first time I went I couldn't see anything like an ant but this time i could see her ponytail I think she is eaten her vegies good job jeremai.

I would recommend Mother Yen to anyone. Delicious food which is well priced. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Such nice staff. Have been back repeatedly and will keep doing so. 😊

All soups made from home made broths. Excellent taste. Good price. Hearty. Would give 5 but not sure of sliced fried rubbery tofu in seafood laksa. Loverly service

A delightful family owned business where they will make you also feel like family when you arrive. They have a large menu so there is something for everyone. Pho is something most places do but not many do well, this place does pho really well.

Recommended by a local. We were not disappointed. Beef Pho, spring rolls and Laksa. All great and very reasonable price.

I’ve been looking for fresh, authentic Vietnamese food in Sydney but I got confused cuz there’s a tons of restaurants in a city....fortunately my family recommended this restaurant (I didn’t expect anything, just want to give it a try)....I gotta tell you it turned out to be incredible...The Pho is served with the tasty, delicious broth. Deep down, I feel really “Vietnamese”... If this is what you’re looking for in Sydney (the food to die for)..you don’t want to miss out this place.

I wanted to like this place because the people were so friendly but the vegetable Pho I had wasn't very good, and had bits of beef in it.

Absolutely delicious, freshly cooked homestyle food. Lovely family vibe. Highly recommend the luscious Vietnamese pancake, had a beautiful coconut oil finish. Crispy noodles with seafood were also a winner. So glad to have stumbled upon this local gem!
