Disappointing experience tonight after previous, pre-Covid experiences were excellent. One incorrect main dish served with a lot of apologies but no real effort to right the error, and then the full cost of what was ordered, and not delivered, still charged. A refresh of the music on offer might assist too; instead of what was rather too loud and frenetically paced music followed by a rather morbid round of what sounded like 80s love songs - were just wrong. Some chilled ambient sounds might serve to enhance patrons’ experience more aptly and better suit Mediterraneo’s vibe.

I've decided to try this place as it stood out to be one of the better places to have steaks in Albert Park area. Overall, I have mixed feelings about MCR for the following reasons. 1. The owner looking guy was pretty accommodating when I and my friends arrived 45 minutes earlier than the booking time 2. The foods including the steak were great and I definitely enjoyed it. However, we waited for about 30 minutes or so for the main dish (i.e. steaks) to come out. We also received our appetizer breads and the dip much later after the entree and were just confused. Given the price range of the restaurant, this was disappointing. 3. Many of the staff seemed new/inexperienced and I sensed they were possibly understaffed 4. Ambience wise, we were seated in the backyard with a white tent above us. To be fair, it was not cold or anything but inside the actual restaurant would've definitely been nicer (I made a booking pretty late though and there were many big groups inside the restaurant) 5. I was not informed in advance that they'd only have the mother's day special menu, and not the normal ones. Would've been a nice touch to let us know in advance.

The music made the atmosphere feel like a feeding frenzy or race - my husband's meal wasn't what was ordered. After vague recollection, it was eventually proven that what was ordered wasn't what was served. The food was quite tasteless overall. No discount or responsibility for what became an unpleasant experience.
