Marios Italian Restaurant

We've just spent 7 nights in Broadbeach and the food at Mario's was far the best out of all the 7 nicest Restaurants we ate at. We were warmly greeted by someone, the staff were all warm and friendly and really looked after us. Best service we had . The food was fabulous, really tasty good Italian food. Portions were very big we did have to all leave some as too big for us, but delicious. If you are in Broadbeach Mario's is a must.

If your looking for a great place to eat in Broad Beach QLD try Mario’s. They have a great selection of food reasonably priced and excellent quality and size. An outstanding service from Nick who helped me and my family choose dishes, we went with his recommendation and glad we did. Nick was friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes and quick with service. Excellent customer service. Thank-you for a great Night and helping us celebrate a 17th Birthday. Highly recommend.

THE best Italian restaurant with a fresh and modern menu! We had Oysters Kilpatrick and Dusted Calamari salad! Pizzas are also excellent, really fresh, thin crusted, wood oven style! Mouthwatering! The staff are excellent…..it was my son’s birthday and the new owners made a fuss over him and were very attentive to our needs! The place gets really busy so book a table! Great locale in Broadbeach main mall!

This restaurant is amazing! Delicious food, great value, beautiful ambiance and the service was exceptional. This will be now be my regular spot for Italian food when i visit broad beach. Thank you for making me feel so welcome. I highly recommend Mario's, it has it all!

The service was very good and very polite and attentive but unfortunately the food was not so good. Very surprising considering they were extremely busy. We sent half of our food back as the sauce on a pizza tasted rancid like acid and overkill on the garlic. The base wasnt even fresh and it was not edible, and my marinara was very bland and was more like a fish soup. The meat was cooked ok but the roasted vegetables were undercooked. Best dish was the side garden salad. Coming from a family of chefs this food was not good. But like I said they were extremely busy with people waiting . They were sorry and tried their best to make it better but unfortunately their chefs let them down. It was expensive also. We felt very disappointed. Unfortunately we will not go back there because of food which is a shame because the staff were lovely.

The customer service here was very good the waitress was very polite. The waiter found us a table without reservation on a very busy night in a quick manner. Portion sizes were large good value for money and food was delicious! Lovely variety on menu and great location would definitely recommend!

Before they did it up Mario’s was better. We managed to book the table and sat us in the cold and I was pregnant. Understand that they were busy but the drunk people next to us kept getting their drinks and table sat down after us went through entree and mains finally after waiting an hour the waiter came and said their must have been a mistake with the order and asked what we ordered. He did say drinks will be on the house which wasn’t much just soft drink but didn’t care as the baby wasn’t happy in my stomach. Finally got our meal at 9:20pm but the garlic bread was suppose to be pizza and the garlic pizza was so strong we couldn’t eat it. We were told we could go up to pay and another waiter attended to people who came after us and fixed their bill. This used to be my no 1 family oriented but now all seem to be stuck up. Maybe I’m just being harsh but that’s the feel I get. The old school Mario’s with the Italian look and vines hanging from the roof was the best and smaller more character. I had been going to Mario’s for 30yrs but no more. A bit disappointing.

Loved the staff, loved the food even more!! Well done guys! Probably the only thing I had a but of issue was the fact that the pizza was a bit too salty for my taste (Marios specialty). I really wanted to try a few more dishes there since all looked so damn good!!

Incredible food, drinks & service. My partner and I have been staying in Broadbeach and knew we wanted to try Mario’s from it’s pretty facade. Tommy was our waiter for the night and I must say his service was exceptional. I can see why he gets great reviews! Clearly enjoys his job and was putting a smile on not just our faces but all tables surrounding. We had the Fettucine Princess - outstanding. Several cocktails recommended by Tommy that were delicious and Sticky Date Pudding to finish off. The food was great however as I always say, the food keeps a diner content however the service keeps them coming back. I will definitely be returning and I hope to see Tommy & the other friendly staffs faces!

Enjoyed a very nice dinner here with my wife and 18 month old daughter. The waiter Nick was awesome, super friendly, very helpful, and has set the standard very high. He was attentive and made sure our daughter was entertained with colouring, feed promptly, and that we as parents, could enjoy ourselves too. He recommended our dishes, and he was spot on. The food was excellent and so was the ice cream for desert. We will definitely dine at Mario's next time we visit the coast. Shout out to Nick the waiter, awesome work mate.
