The food wars really good

25 minute for two coffees and 40 minutes for food. The food wait would have been acceptable if we had coffee earlier. The food was very good and there are a number of options for vegetarians or vegans.

Compared to similar style cafes I’d rate ‘Maple and Clove’ closer to 5 than 4. Tucked away off the main drives in Barton it offers a cosy refuge for local workers with both indoor and outdoor settings. There are some great healthy choices on the menu and the fruit and vegetable juices are excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed my zucchini waffles (so light and melt in the mouth) with avocado, salmon and eggs. Best breakfast I’ve had in awhile. The staff seem polite and the decor very modern and pleasant.

Tried both the savoury and sweet waffle options. The savoury waffle had a nice flavour, like a crispy corn fritter. It went really well with poached eggs and smoked salmon. The sweet waffle was also nice and crisp, with delicious fixings. Portions are a bit on the small side (especially for the price) so big appetites (like me) may be left wanting more. The cafe itself has a hip, modern vibe and great decor.

Perfect spot for a brunch at the center of Barton. Located along Burberry Close, Maple + Clove offers healthy options for sumptuous breakfast and lunch meals. We liked how the Pesto Eggs and Goats Cheese was made (as we are big Eggs Benedict chasers) and also the Blue Swimmer Crab Omelette with rice on top which has this Japanese dish vibe on it. Coffee is good too! They offer alfresco dining so you can enjoy your meal outside a good weather.

My wife and I love this place! The sweet potato hash brown is both delicious and filling. Same goes for the chicken tacos! The freshly squeezed juice was very refreshing. Just wanted to say thanks to the staff as we arrived at 2:25pm, 5 minutes before the kitchen closed and they were more than accommodating to let us sit and eat without rushing us. We left completely satisfied with the food and the service. 5 stars!

The service, decor, mannerisms, and vibe of this establishment was top-notch. In particular, the Barramundi dish was standout. The photo is attached, but it honestly does not do this dish justice. The banana bread , along with the usual accompaniment of butter, also featured a guest ramekin of ricotta. Thank you for having me. I look forward to visiting again.

Nice, modern cafe with smooth finishings. Coffee, fruit juices and & pastroes from here were divine. M&C was at full capacity & thriving by 8:30am. Would come by here again

Packed with people on Sat morning easter weekend, took an hr to have our food delivered but great service, good food and nice coffee.

Pretty good food. Service was great and hot choc was awesome. Place gets packed out in the mornings so don’t leave it too late.
