Maggie's Potts Point Restaurant

Great beer but food is lower than average. Been there for dinner 3 times now and said that it was a last time eating there. Actually we've said the same thing after our second dinner at Maggie's but it was a while ago so we decided to give a go again. But definetelly will come back for a beer.

Great meal, very good service & wonderful friendly staff. Reccommend it to all.

Restaurant has changed hands twice recently. There are problems. Getting the waiter to understand your order (if you order in English) is an exciting experience. You might have better luck trying aircraft marshalling hand signals, or perhaps an African click language.

Great schnitzel, even better mushroom sauce.

I've been coming here for years, the food and drinks are reasonable. But the service sw8ngs between terrible and non-existent. They would do well to hire some decent staff.

Nice European restaurant. Make sure to try their chicken schnitzel, which comes with cabbage salad and rösti, with mushroom sauce. It's delicious and huge. Also, they have good beers on tap, and a good selection on bottle.

I had the worst bratwurst ever! Honestly worst! Its my favorite sausage and I had it in many many different places but this one was awful! I couldnt take the second bite. Service, also wasnt that good but still okay. I asked mayo on the side and they charged $3 for it! Anyway, I don’t recommend it at all.

Food was excellent and plentiful. Service was good and wait time very reasonable. Would certainly recommend for the real taste of Germany/Austria.

Schnitzel was good, pricing is good value. The spetzle (in lieu of the rosti potatoe) was a bit gluey (since it was only boiled). Would have preferred it be finished fried a bit in a pan with oil and butter before serving. As others have noted... Speaking to the wait staff using English is a little bit challenging ( and speaking German would definitely not be possible here).

Deep fried Camembert. Need I say more? The service is really friendly here. A great consistent menu. Chicken jypsy thanks.
