Madame M cafe

Absolutely horrifying experience. Waited 45 minutes for one coffee. I went in to ask when it was coming out and they said they had a mishap in the kitchen and it had to be tidied up. When the coffee came out I respectfully suggested that rather than keep their customers waiting and feeling like they have been forgotten about they could give them some context as to the reason for the delays. If you understand it, it sits far better. The manager came out to me after this and accused me of lying as to how long we were waiting for the coffee! He said I ordered and paid for it at 11:05am. I explained that I ordered and paid for it at 10:44am in actual fact (I have the receipt to prove it) and it was brought out at roughly 11:25am. I then went to explain to him the importance of providing customers with some context to such a lengthy delay and he refused to speak with me stating he was too busy and walked off. He then came out back out and inflamed the situation further - I stated that we won’t be paying for that last coffee that took so long to arrive and his retort was “yes I did say that earlier that you won’t have to pay for that coffee. Perhaps if you were actually listening you would of heard that! His tone was incredibly sarcastic and patronising 🤦‍♀️ Overall shocking experience. Manager was incredibly arrogant, patronising, sarcastic and very rude and it made for an super uncomfortable experience.

Super cute French Cafe with lovely decor and a great outside seating area. Had the vegetarian risotto which was nice and a good serving size. Friends had the beef burger and were very happy.

Three stars for location ,ambience and pleasant service .Slightly overpriced and definitely not a place for eating alone.Some improvement this time around compared to a year ago.

Outdoor and indoor dining. Chicken and mushroom crepe was average. Nice wedges but no sour cream available.

Great pressures in here. Nice shiny blingy things. Cafe good food although service a bit slow.
