Just thought I'd try some of the coffee shops in my local village, and Mad Cafe was such a suprise! I absolutely love the coffee, very very tasty and has a nice after taste to it as well. I think I found my favourite local coffee shop!

It’s an absolute joy to visit this cafe run by Danni and Tim. In a very short time, since they have taken over the business, they have managed to modernise, decorate and create a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The lunch time prawn and mango salad with Tim’s special dressing is the best I’ve ever had. Follow this with one of Danni’s homemade chocolate coated banana snickers for a perfect ending to a great meal. The service is quick and efficient and the organic brand coffee is delicious. Set in the heart of Balgownie village this is sure to be a hit :)

Lovely owner! Super accommodating to whipping up a vegan meal for me at the end of the day even after the chef had already left to go home. Also, the BEST coffee around! Love that I can get a hot cup of Coco's Coffee from a cafe!

This is a great family friendly cafe which serves good food and even better coffee. Tim and Dani are wonderful owners who make you (and your kids) feel like you are visiting their home.
