Macelleria Newtown

Great little chain with really massive premises at the heart of newtown. The specialty here is clearly meat - although it does have some fish and some vegetarian options and salads. It's like a butchers counter where you choose your cut and the team cook it to perfection for you. Prices moderate/ decent and great range of cuts. Highly recommended for groups as well the space is substantial.

The layout of the restaurant is Urban and friendly, the service is EXCELLENT .. everyone is happy and helpful. The food is delicious and fresh. Great place to eat out :)

If you're after the freshest and the best Beef in the city of Sydney, this place is no doubt up on the top. The hospitality, food and drinks never disappoint. Purely amazing and fills you up as you wish for. Also they always accommodate you even when they working on full load.

Genuine grass fed and great cuts of meat. Nice spot for a nourishing meal. Wagyu rules!!

I went there recently with my family for my brothers birthday and it was fantastic. The quality of the food is amazing, they cook it to perfection. Can’t really fault any of the food except maybe the mash potatoes were a bit bland. I was able to bring in a cake as well with no extra charge and they supplied candles and brought it out to us to sing happy birthday, it was great! Will definitely come back!

This was recommended to me by a friend. My husband and I love a good steak and we were certainly happy with what we ordered. Fast service and friendly staff that were happy to help out first timers.....definitely deserves and 2nd visit 😉

Fantastic food, great service. They have a guy ready to meet you and he's a little overbearing and makes you feel pressured to order before you've even decided to eat there... But the food was great. Can't complain.

Friendly staff. Kid friendly. Good sized meals and quality ingredients used in the food. You can even buy to take home (as they're a butcher too).

Came here for dinner on a Sunday night and it was really amazing. The staff were extremely friendly, the service was great and the food was really nice. I ordered the Cavoletto burger, my Mum ordered the cheese steak and we both shared some fries and everything was spot on along with the drinks. We will be definitely coming again.
