Favourite spot for good punjabi food.. Good and quick service. Very helpful staff. Anything you order is delicious.. My favourites are tandoori chicken, butter chicken with roti..
I had a very huge expectations from the Mitran da dhaba. But Very disappointed after eaten the food today. We Ordered dhaba special chicken and handi goat masala which was served very cold. Ordered malai chicken tikka as a starter as well and it was tasteless.I donβt think I will come back again to the dhaba. No taste at all very flat curries with same used of red curry paste in the both curries . Waste of money.
Quality has declined aggressively. When they first started food was super Taste but now regretfully it's awful I won't be going back and I don't recommend to go here anymore.
Ambience Ok, not great or bad. Food : Definitely not dhaba style/taste. Dal makhni was thick as paste with little sweet taste on tongue but burning in throat. wasn't chilli, just weird. No smoky flavour I was expecting from a "Dhaba". Kofta in malai kofta was good and soft, but again the curry was not creamy as expected but more of garam masala taste. Since when? Can't tell the difference between Tandoori roti and naan. both were same. And Rice were cold. absolutely cold. Place : They offer discount on cash payments. I fell for it too. Just to save some loose change I paid cash and Saved them GST, Saved them income tax and put burden on already crippled economy by making these type of businesses eligible for centrelink and other grants. feeling guilty and ashamed.
If you want absolutely poor service and tasteless food then this is the place to be. Went there yesterday, as you enter the restaurant you just wait and wish someone notice you and offer the table. Well after trying our luck we approached the staff who are totally busy ignoring you and other 5 tables π. These guys don't have any knowledge about Hospitality. Well after all the struggle we ordered the meals. Entree's were just ok. Then you wait and wish for someone to clear the table but yet another disappointment. When asked the staff for some clean plates staff were showing attitude and started rolling the eyes as if we have asked her something out of the world. Let's get to the mains. Ordered palak paneer absolutely zero salt and full of oil. Chana Masala - they just add the sauce to chana no flavor at all. Now comes to their so called signature dish Dhaba Special Chicken which has no flavor and they just used the same sauce as Chana Masala. Ordered dessert which took forever then we just had to get it packed. Absolutely disappointed with food and staff with Poker Face. I would have given -5 Star if there was option.
Fab food and service. Will definitely recommend.
Very popular so there was a bit of waiting. Very polite staff, great food, generous serving size. Just one suggestion for better cooling system for hot daysππ
Hated tawa chaap. They should remove it unless they make some changes. The price is high too for this particular when the taste is disgusting. Previous experience has been great, but they failed this time. I am disheartened!
This place is not at all equipped to cater to a large group. Go there only if you are a small group of 4 otherwise they would be too worried about the number of chairs your group is taking up. And God forbid if you go to wash your hands after you are done with your food, the chairs would disappear even before you come back. So that you can just leave and some other group can sit and the restaurant can mint money. And donβt bother ordering sweets after you are done because they run out of it by 8:00 PM. (Another strategy to just throw you out of the restaurant?? Maybe) Now about the food: Vegetarian food was very average. Dal Makhani, that pretty much all the places get right had less salt and lacked flavour. The non vegetarian people in our group really liked the starters but the gravy was again average. The good point: The tandoori naan was really nice and soft even after it got cold. Note to the management: people go to eat out not just for food but also for the experience. And no matter how good your food is, your customers would not return if they had a poor experience at your restaurant.
Food quality and taste is good. Good food for adults. Their standard dishes are spicier than other Indian restaurants. Not many options for kids. When asked for mild daal they said they can't do it since daal is premade and only thing they can do is add more cream in it.
