U 2 173 King William Rd 5061, Adelaide
Tried Lukoumades for the first time and very satisfied with the donut, gelato and also the ambience.
Great donuts but hit and miss service. Also very slow every time I’ve been. Expect minimum 20min wait time (!!) even when it’s quiet and longer at peak times. Our order was forgotten one time too (on a quiet night). We waited 30 minutes for our one serve of donuts and got no apology for forgetting. Anyway go for the food but be prepared to wait and don’t expect friendly service!
Very disappointing, drove quite a way to try. 2pm Tuesday, apparently were supposed to be open. Sign on door said open come in after checking in with QR code. Door was locked and the girl inside couldn't care! Hyde Park was busy and all the other cafés busy, I won't be trying again. Thanks for your response, but you may think this shop was open as it stated on Google opening times. The door was locked and you had no customer in the shop, just a female staff member.
I didn’t try the food yet don’t even feel like coz I’m waiting and waiting for my order for more than half and hour. No one is served yet. I’m going without my food.
Cute little joint but the greek donuts weren't what l had expected and way too much chocolate topping poured on top. Good experience nonetheless but l'll give it a miss next time.
Love it, the lokoumades are surprisingly light.
Photos on Instagram are very captivating and inviting! But when we arrived it has a very fast food restaurant vibe. The girl serving laughed at me when I asked if the store had a bathroom I could access and that it was too late that the public toilets would also be closed. The food was ok, but average for the price. It’s not a relaxed dessert bar it’s a fast food store for dessert.
There isn’t another place like this in Adelaide, Completely unique with an awesome variety on the menu, it leaves me stressing to come back and try the next thing! Also the traditional lukomades with honey and cinnamon are better than my Yiayia’s, and that’s saying something! Owner is a great guy, and easy to talk to, definitely love visiting this place 👌🏼 11/10
Absolutely disgusting. I ordered with Uber eats from the Hyde park location and were excited to try the hyped up donuts. When they came they looked good and we bit into them they were crispy but as we did so, oil poured out. Absolutely dripping with oil. Not even the chocolate could cover the overpowering taste of oil. Not even good olive oil it were cheap canola oil which tasted like fish. Very disappointed, your yia-yia would not be proud. Malakas!!
Solid greek donuts. Not much more to say except try some!
