Great atmosphere and cool vibe - I love coming here to enjoy a cup of strong coffee and chat with the lovely waiting staff. Always a nice experience! :))

Unbelievably rude staff. Came for a coffee on holiday and had my daughter sitting quietly in her pram. Woman at the counter made it very clear we weren’t welcomed. I’ve had the best experience in Sydney so far so I found this completely counter cultural. Such a fail of a cafe.

The Stack is probably one of the best breakfasts I’ve had! Great menu and well priced. Awesome staff with professional, yet laid back vibes. Coffee is great and orders never take long - even food! I recommend BangBang to anyone!

The Barista and manager at this cafe is amazing. Justin makes one of the better cups of coffee I’ve had, extremely polite and makes the experience feel welcoming.

Delicious breakfast, we had the eggs benny and the waffles. Waitress was very helpful to give us extra plates so my mum and I could share both dishes. Definitely worth the walk up the hill.

The barista rolled her eyes when I asked if I could create my own juice from the menu. I then received what felt like a telling off from the second waitress for not having orange or apple in the combination (who knew). This is one of many bad customer service experiences I have had in the last two years. I work in the same building as this cafe and my 20 staff all go out of their way (rather than walk downstairs) for lunch and coffee because the brand experience is so poor. Young (hungover?) staff mucking about, very loud music, service is on their terms. I do anything I can NOT to go here but sometimes I have to when working on a weekend. Once I ordered a juice at 1 min past 2pm and they said 'Sorry the kitchen closes at 2pm'. Why this place has received 5 stars is beyond me. Also the coffee is bad which is a giant missed opportunity in an area like Surry Hills. I don't have time to write reviews but today was the last straw - hopefully the owner reads this and does something about the standard and sees the opportunity that they have in this location to get it right.
