Lo Quay River Cafe

Love this this Cafe and the setting ... Nestled in a beautiful location on the river, surrounded by the Riverton Park bushland ... Heaps of seating in the cafe, undercover and also outdoors ... Terrific menu, both food and beverage, for breakfast, morning tea and lunch ... you can takeaway too! Typically busy, however service is normally speedy and the staff are super friendly and helpful ... Oh, and if you have some Kids, there's a playground righ next to the Cafe. You'll enjoy it all !

Great spot on the river near the old Shelly bridge. Large menu with a number of specials. Was very well patronised. Fresh juice was very good. Lunch meals of salt and pepper squid and corn fritters were average. Other meals and dessert looked great so will be back to give it another try.

Had a great day celebrating by birthday today here. It's lovely sitting outside overlooking the river and enjoying the birds and the sounds of children playing in the nearby park. Food and coffee was very nice and at reasonable prices. Public toilets near by and ability needs parking close to the cafe.

Very busy. If you're making a booking, the best spot outside is on the terrace. Arrive early if possible as the line was out the door multiple times. Food was delicious and coffee was great.

Lovely spot. Great coffee and food. So busy though. We had to park on the other side of the river and walk over. Probably not much can be done about the parking situation though as there really isn't room to expand it.

Had a lovely breakfast here, about 8.30am on a friday morning. Had experienced v slow service before but this time, despite being fairly busy, service was efficient and friendly. Must be raising their game after some poor reviews. Big breakfast shared between me and my furry companion got 2 thumbs and paws up.Lovely coffee too.

Very popular. Good food n service

It is a lovely venue and so, so popular. But I didn't see one person clean a table. I was surprised! The table we sat at certainly needed a wipe as did some seats. We ordered coffee and scones. The scones came out almost immediately. The coffee didn't come for more than 15-20mins. Finally we went to look for it and saw the receipt with it sitting on counter. When it came the long black had absolutely no crema on it and was cold! I know they were very busy, but there was no apology when the coffee came. I was disappointed indeed. I would go back and do hope it will be better next time.
