I think this is the most patronized restaurant in Newtown with its tables always full, and I have to come a little earlier or later offpeak times. A vegetarian date introduced me here as he said this resto saved his hunger when he was broke. You eat and choose to pay by donation of any amount or volunteer as a staff. I always feel to pay enough as this resto is very humanitarian & feeds the homeless & broke for free. I can see the happy willingness and cheerful vibe of the volunteer staff, and this gives so much love to the dining experience. Food is always different everyday and every lunch and dinner. They only open 12noon-3pm and 5pm-8pm. But they always offer the Sri Lankan curry as a staple. What I like about it is your meal is complete with a dessert and hot/cold beverage, which is chai tea or hot soy latte, or a natural mixed fruit juice. I love their desserts as always! The pudding or cakes that are truly Vegan and tasty! And I am glad they also try to make Vegan versions of some of our Filipino food. It's always interesting to come back here. Great venue! Staff is amazing and always serve with a smile. Pay as much as you want for the food. Downside is that there are a lot of alcoholics and drug addicts in the restaurant.

This place is amazing, the people working there were so friendly and I'm not vegan but the food was fantastic. Loved my experience in many ways and will definitely be back many more times.

They don't put price on the menu. You pay as you want. Its surrounding is typical Australian suburbs with old buildings next door.
