What can you say! It's fabulous love the way it works you can always get a healthy meal if you have only $5 in your pocket or $20 it's the best a great long lasting concept that looks after a lot of people

Love this place, the food and the nature surroundings. Highly recommend as a group outing, special family gatherings or even for some chill, alone time :)

A great place to spend your day wandering around the monastery, meeting locals and travellers and eating vegetarian and vegan food. With its great vibe this is probably one of the best places in Melbourne to socialise, surrounded by bucolic views and great hiking opportunities along the Yarra river.

Beautiful food, wonderful volunteer staff and an incredible community vibe.. hard not to be generous there when you receive so much love!

The best place in the whole wide world! Every bite from every dish is a total food-gasm. I would kill for a plate of lentils right now! Please god, keep this place alive forever!

Love it here. Can't get enough of the soul warming meals and the atmosphere is so warm and casual.

The food is great, the food is vegan, the price is pay-as-you-feel, but unfortunately this equates to blissfully unaware waiter-staff who “serve-as-they-feel”. You can sit there for 15 minutes making eye-contact and waving at every waiter in sight, and they still won’t realise they haven’t taken your order yet or recognise your need for attention. Granted, the staff are volunteers trying to gain work experience or give back to the community, so don’t snap at them. Instead, be prepared by bringing a few kilograms of patience to snack on whilst you wait. At the cost of patience, you do gain delicious, affordable, vegan meals accompanied by live music when visiting this place.

Good vegan food here. You can't go wrong here.

5 stars for the ambience.. the food also was really good. We ordered lasangna with red lentils and grilled tofu with polento pancake.. just loved it
