La Trattoria

Used to go here once every few months, nice food. The atmosphere in the back of the restaurant is cosy, with mood lighting. As to take away pizzas, they are more expensive than Domino's (the family pizza is around $25) but it tastes better - get the pepperoni with chili for something that won't disappoint.

Great food.

Previously had been a great venue with good home style food at reasonable prices. In the last few years though the prices have gone up significantly and the quality has arguably decline or at best remained roughly the same. It's not uncommon to get stone cold lasagna, or floppy under cooked pizza here these days. Very disappointing after years of patronage, but these days there are much better options for Italian food in the City.

Always great food and atmosphere plus really good service. Def recommend.

Even though they were busy we had top level table service

The food was really good however the owner was extremely rude. I asked before we ordered if I could have an itemized receipt at the end and that I would be paying for four out of the three. Not trying to be difficult it was a business expense and one of diners was not from the group. After the meal the owner said "I dont care what you want one check one table" I kept calm and explained the situation, he remained rude. The waitress ended up separating it, it wasnt difficult, I paid for everything except one pasta and one beer. It was a real shame as the food was great, his attitude left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't need to go and spend money in a place and be spoken to in such a way though, so I will not be going back nor will I recommend it, until maybe the owner learns some mannners!

Always superb food. Andy and his staff are the best. That little gem 'Billie' is my favourite!
