Kosaten Launceston

First time at a Japanese restaurant for me, this was outstanding, will definitely be going again

Great dining experience and menu selection. A bit more upperclass then generic sushi train with a price that matches but overall decent value.

I just left this restaurant and the food here has to be the best sushi, sashimi I have ever had. Definitely coming back in the near future. Great service and I love how everything getting to you via a train :)

Kosaten was a pleasure to eat at. The food was devine and could not fault a single thing in the menu. The food was all reasonably priced and exceptionally fresh and full of flavour. All the hostesses were attentive and incredibly polite. All in all, our visit to Kosaten was top notch and we will most definitely be returning for multiple meals.

Great place. Appealing environment, lovely food. Ordering on an iPad and having the food come on a train is nice. Bit pricey, but the flavours are amazing so I think it's worth it. Been there twice in the last week, and have plans to go there again soon.

Everything about this place is just delightful. I love the decor. You order food and drinks through an iPad with very easy instructions. Your order arrives quickly on a bullet train. The food is reasonably priced, fresh and delicious. The waitstaff are there if you need them. I could have kept on ordering and kept on eating! We would like Kosaten to open on Central Coast NSW. I will be marketing officer!

I have been to Kosaten so many times but I got my worst experience tonight. We went there at 5pm and got kicked out by the waitress. If Kosanten no longer accept any walk in customers, please show on the Facebook or Google page. Also, they don't keep social distance during COVID -19. All the bar seats are empty and they make us sit directly to the two existing customers. Worst experience ever. I tried to contact the manager to make a suggestion. The same waitress answered the phone and said manager would not be back, if you like, you just keep calling. I have thought Kosaten was the best sushi place at Launceston but now it has the worst customer service.
