Fantastic food. Best Jajangmyeon. Totally worth travelling 40km for the food here. Very friendly staff. The raspberry soju is amazing as well.

Very affordable especially the light meals. Great customer service and fast service even during lunch hours. Highly recommended.

I would say food was good and price, customer service as well, But i found hair in the food 2 times You guys should attention to cleanliness.

Review: there’s so much to love about korchi city. It’s so value for money - portions are very generous, yet prices were surprisingly reasonable for a CBD restaurant.⠀ ⠀ They are mostly famous for their jjajangmyeon (a greasy and chewy black bean noodle dish) which is unique as it is generally not available in other Melbourne-based. A few spoonfuls in, I found that there’s a sweet aftertaste which I’m not a huge fan of. Either way, it would be a crime if you are a noodle lover and not sample this when you come here.⠀ ⠀ What left really lasting impression though, was their pork bulgolgi. The sizzling and delicious marinated pork just goes so well with rice. There’s also unlimited complimentary kimchi. Their homemade kimchi was just awesome and puts the ones you buy at Asian groceries to shame. Looking forward to my next work lunch here!!

This has been my go to place to get ‘gan jajang’ (간짜장) in Melbourne for several years; yes that’s different to jajangmyeon - give it a go! Generous portion sizes and good consistency.

Korchi is a good restaurant with decent, affordable lunches. My favourite Bibimbap is not up to the best I ever had, but pretty close. Lunch time can be a bit crowded. Apart from that, good foods, cozy and enjoyable environment, free wifi, what else should I ask for? The staffs are nice and quick, but normally talk less ;)

Update on 24 Oct 2018 This restaurant was one of my favourites. I've been there yesterday again and ordered black noodle with no sea food. When I almost finished it, there was something it supposed not to be. It was prawn tail who had bitten already. I didn't order seafood black noodle and there was no seafood except that prawn tail. I reported this to waitress. She went into kitchen and came out. Then asked me. "Sorry for that. Can we serve same dish again?" I couldn't have it. I paid and left. This was my review of last year. It is Korean restaurant but the taste was much better than one in Korea. Try this restaurant.

Quick and great lunch - pork bulgogi bento box from Korchi in Lt Bourke St. I used to go to the one in Clayton. This one is only 2mins walk from work, a great option if you don't have much time for lunch. The bento box costs only $10 (generous portion!), and you also get two small side dishes and a bowl of miso soup. Plenty of other options for lunch. Food comes out pretty quick too. Definitely my go to place whenever I have limited time for lunch.

Food is really great. Been going to this place plenty of times, but staffs are getting less friendly and look very unapproachable.
