King Wong Chinese & Seafood Restaurant

The worst service ever. We felt like that we were not welcome at all and that we were interrupting them. Even when I rang to book a reservation the male at the other end was quite abrupt. When we arrived we were “greeted” by a grubby looking waitress still chewing on a mouthful of food. Yup,That’s right! We were shown our table with no welcoming as she sat back down at her table and continued eating. Looking around and noticing how disgustingly un kept and dirty this place is, we should have left then. Then a “waiter” dressed in a dirty old t shirt and jeans came to take our drink order. My stubby bottle of beer tasted stale / green. The food was over cooked an tasteless, not to mention over priced. Even the complementary prawn crackers were horrible as if they had been cooked in old oil. I think the Knox council should take an inspection on this one. Seriously wrong! Another one to avoid!

Fantastic unassuming chinese restaurant Great place to go if you are looking for truly authentic dishes, huge menu with some of the more traditional western style chinese dishes as well

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We got take away for the first time from there tonight and we witnessed them bringing dishes out from the back up to the front to put in microwave! These were the meals given to diners eating there! Then we get ours home and the rice had stuff all in it and was gluggy because it also had obviously been precooked and microwaved! And the ingredients weren't fresh! One tiny little prawn I hate was still ice cold! Read reviews just now and am horrified. Wish I saw them earlier. Never go there again . Knox council health department needs to inspect!

Was there early lunchtime on Sunday,only two families already eating in restaurant I wanted take away of 2x entrees. Was told it wouldn’t take long. When for a walk and came back and there was another customer there who wasn’t before waiting for takeaway too. He got his takeaway entrees meal from what I could see and left, 10mins later still waiting as young guy at register seems too busy on his mobile phone to bother to check on my takeaway. Finally goes to kitchen but come out stands at back of restaurant again on mobile and When I asked (while he’s still looking at his phone) if it was going to be much longer he became aggressive and rude saying “would I like to check kitchen”. Sadly I got my money back and left, extremely disappointed.

Large portions of tasty Asian comfort food, at a price that is unbeatable around this area. Not something I'd want to have everyday, but for takeaway, King Wong's location and food are unmatched in their class.

Love this place. Fantastic roast duck and crispy pork. Whole menu is tasty.

Not a very clean place. There is a particular smell that gets you from the moment you walk in. The roast pork was bland and not crispy. The vegies were not fresh, the rice was old and there was even a bug in the dish. Not recommended.
