Kickin' Inn

Food was great. We made a booking and whilst it was insisted to me that restaurant is strict on time, we still waited 40 minutes to be seated. We’re a fairly easy going group so it didn’t ruin our night.

Amazing experience...as goes their tagline - Taste the Experience. The waitress walked us through the menu. We ordered starters and waited for the main course. It was served directly on the table, minus plates spoons and forks. We were provided gloves. The combination we had was mixed bag, with the Sha-Bang sauce, Spicy sauce (there were 4 more levels of spice after this) and a bowl of rice. The sauce was yummiest and so was the crab - my fav bits of all.

We didn't have a booking, but they put us on a waiting list and got a table within 30 minutes. The food and service was amazing. It was busy, but food still came out quick.

Aside from the delays at the beginning (didn't really bother me) the food and service was really good...however they tried to refuse cash (legal tender) which is unheard of. After informing the staff that refusing legal tender is foolishness they eventually had to give in...seriously because keying in your pin on the same machine everyone touches is so much more hygienic...that's where they lost 4 stars !!!

Had an reservation for 7:00PM which we made 3 days early, and followed up with a phone call to which the staff member asked us not to arrive late.We arrived 5 mins early and checked with staff. Staff said they would set up a table for us. There were no tables available. A number of other groups had arrived for their booking to which they were told to wait. I spoke with staff again and they asked if I could wait 20 mins. I restated we had a booking for 7:00PM. It didn’t look like any tables were going to become available anytime soon. Other customers with a booking and I were left to stand outside well after our reservation time. I spoke with staff again and cancelled my booking. Very disappointed, I would not recommend this place and I will not be visiting there. I do not give this place even one star for customer service very unprofessional.

The staff are great, very helpful and accommodating. And the food is fantastic, who wouldn't love snow crab? Generous portion size for the price.

GREAT service! The staff from the moment we walked in were so friendly and helpful, with this being our first time, we have gone back twice now. DELICIOUS SEAFOOD. Such unique dining experience. We had the best time.

Wow! What a feast

Very unique experience - Definitely enjoyed the novelty of being served Seafood in a bag. We ordered the Mixed Bag, Peeled Prawns which were great. However, we also ordered the Mortan Bay Bug Pot which a couple of them were raw and inedible. We notified the staff and they were lovely and brought out a few more on the house. Definitely worth coming to for the experience.
