Kepos Street Kitchen

A welcome full of warmth and happiness, excellent attentive service, and delicious creative food. We had the specials - a homely chicken broth served with the crustiest bread, and a beef brisket cooked to perfection, sauce on the side with a gorgeous zaatar bagel. But every meal we walked past looked incredible. First time coming here, and will definitely be back.

Recommended by a friend who's a local, we couldn't have had a nicer lunch. Great friendly service as you would expect at a small, mostly outdoors, cafe. But the food was far better than expected. And then they have prepared foods to take home and cook, which we did. These were just as delicious. We'll be back!

"Influence" is an important word. There are authentic notes of middle Eastern food here, but in general, this is a place of middle Eastern influence...no, the ingredients don't squabble with each other, choosing arbitrary dates to say "we were here first". The ingredients here are treated well, and gently influenced to remind you that some of the crew have a clue about middle Eastern eats. Service is good...efficient, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Its no longer a great breath of fresh air, in Sydney dining. But it is a reliable place for tasty food and good service.

coffee is ok, but the food - omg - deeeelicious. had the meatball sandwich and grabbed some hummus for home which was some of the best I've ever eaten. great stuff.

We had a lovely breakfast at Kepos with friendly staff and a great non-standard offering of Mediterranean inspired dishes. The labneh was particularly notable and halloumi cooked to perfection. There’s Even a Fridge packed full of goodies to take home with you

We love supporting local business, even more if the staff is friendly, the environment warm and the food delicious. Kepos has also great vegetarian options and take away dishes.

Wow, what to say. I was recommended this place by a friend and decided to check it out for lunch today. Quaint little spot, very friendly staff and incredible delicious food. I had the Wood fired hot-smoked salmon salad, olives, kipflers, hard boiled egg, dukkah and my friend had the Meatball Sub. Both dishes were delicious and fresh and I’m really looking forward to heading back to try more in the menu.

Food was average. We ordered the falafel for lunch and duck cigar. The place was also quite loud, table was sticky and waiter was nice but she was very rough. She banged everything on the table such as the glasses. I don't think we would come again. Very disappointed especially after the hype for finally being able to try the place.

Amazing Shakshuka, and the variation on Eggs Benedict with salmon mousse, caviar and a fresh crumpet is a revelation! Amazing food and lovely coffee too. Great brunch spot!
