Kebab Xpress

A bit pricey but the snack packs taste good. Kebab is big but too cheesy. Pretty good option considering you're not getting far off the highway.

Solid kebabs here. Fresh ingredients used, well toasted bread. Chicken meat was delicious. Great value. Will come again for the next snow trip. Better than waiting for maccas

Came here for a quick lunch when going back home to Sydney from Canberra. The pricing is what Sydney city would charge for a Kebab so it was quite surprising considering we were in a rural area. We got our kebab but the tabouli was very dry, it literally only had the parsley and a tad bit of tomato. It's fresh lawn mow grass to be honest, I wouldn't even call it tabouli. Otherwise the taste was ok, it wasn't too bad but I probably wouldn't return here again because the lady that served it doesn't know much about hygiene. There is no point in using gloves if you're going to use it for everything. She uses the same gloves to accept money, give change, make all the food, serve drinks, clean tables with rag and handle rubbish so there's poor sanitation there. If someone knows how to contact the food hygiene inspection, please do so. I will support you. Reply to Owner's Response 09/21: "Just wanted to say that I respect people’s comments and opinions. BUT WHAT WORLD ARE YOU LIVING IN? Firstly we are a country town and deliveries are expensive and cost more than they do in big cities. Secondly there are no tables and chairs out that you should know ( COVID-19 ) take away only. Thirdly I have cameras in the shop that prove I did not serve you. Your just being jealous and low life putting other small businesses down by FALSE accusations in these stressful times." I'm going to assume you're one of the owner's children writing this because you clearly don't know about professionalism in responding to customer queries and feedbacks? I'm living in Australia, just like you do. FYI - This review was based on my experience in October 2019 BEFORE the pandemic outbreak when your tables and chairs were still out to utilise. And you have cameras in the shop to prove? So that means you would have had to backtrack your footage from 11 months ago, watching 340 days worth of footage? wow you're keen son. I do have photos proving I was there in October 2019. Don't try to sound smart when you're not. You're the jealous one with the 50c/h wage helping the family business, so please just go back to work and do something about your tabouli.

Dryest overcooked kebabs we have ever eaten. At least my daughter asked for cheese and sour cream so she had a bit of moisture but the pita bread was so hard she could only pick at the filling. Total waste of money and unfortunately, we didn't try them before leaving the shop so we couldn't return to complain. Dirty toilets - not even handwash or towels and bathroom didn't appear to have been cleaned for some time. Disgusting! This place needs a visit from the health inspector. Don't handle money and food without washing your hands or changing your gloves and a smile with your poor service would help.

Kebabs are average and I have stopped here as a convenience on the highway to Sydney. This week was my last visit as the sullen peroxide woman serving was taking money with filthy food handling gloves on both hands and then straight back into the food dishes. When I pointed out that it’s unhygienic to handle money and food like that she sneered and couldn’t have cared less. She said “I won’t make yours, he will .” and then just proceeded to make the next persons. Step up and educate yourself before the health inspector pops in next week.
