Katik Turkish Take Away

Reviewing Katik is amazing for me as my father used to own it many, many years ago when we migrated to Australia. Currently (and for the better part of a decade), the food is mind blowingly good! More Turkish street food than fine dining, but that's what Katik has built its reputation on! The Adana is out of this world and you know a place is good when there are queues outside the door. But don't worry, the staff work like crazy to get that juicy meat in your mouth :) Enjoy!

Pretty good, $8 doners + kebabs and they're really tasty too, cant really beat that. Staff are great too. Better to take away, its pretty cramped inside. Just be careful parking around the side, the is literally the worst neighborhood in Melbourne! Some weirdos hang around behind the shops.

Best Adana kebab ever. This place is very popular and busy. They are quick though with their service. Very efficient! In 10 min you can have your Adana in your hand ready to eat. Or you can have 10 Adana kebabs in the same time. I met people here who traveled 45 min or more to have an Adana kebab here. They have other kebabs too. Highly recommend it. They cater for vegetarians too. Make sure you bring cash though. They don't take card. Kebab is cheap though.

What can I say...probably best kebabs in Melbourne. I haven't tried every kebab joint in Melbourne, but I'd be keeping up towards the 50 mark of different kebab joints and this is the best ive had so far. Ilhan Sipiloglu, thank you for introducing me to this wonderful piece of heaven

The Taste of the meat is just amazing!! Be prepared to wait in the queue. Totally worth it.

the best Turkish kebab in Melbourne. from quality to quantity to prices are the most reasonable. fresh Turkish bread with all the fresh ingredients. they are so generous for a nice big kebab they charge only $6 no other shop in Melbourne charges such a reasonable price for the quality of food highly recommended
