Love the coffee and cake and the atmosphere. Also pleased to see kitchen and wait staff wearing hats or hair tied back. However the long beard of the coffee maker seems inappropriate for a food venue. Not comfortable with him making my coffee.

Friendly staff, funky little shop! We didn't stay but it does have sit down breakfast options available

Awesome place for brekky and coffee is consistently one of the best in town. Staff is always friendly, polite and occasionally even have a joke to brighten your day. 👍🏻

I come here for breakfast every time I am in Albany. It's so cosy and quaint, very homely. The food is ALWAYS delicious, the staff are friendly, and the coffee! The coffee is delicious... peering out the large windows offer 180 views of the bay. Plenty of parking, books galore in the windows sill of all genres...

Friendly staff, decent service. Coffee was good, best of my limited experience in Albany. Couple of couches to sit on. Excellent caramel slice, with ginger as a twist that I've never tasted before.

Got recommended Kate's place during a business trip. Such a cosy place with great homey decor. Great coffee, food and sweets selection. Fantastic place for a business meeting.
