Isme Lebanese Restaurant

Fantastic mezze plates from this little corner gem - awesome hummus, amazing dumplings, and fabulous tender grilled skewers of lamb that are tender and delicious. The staff are super friendly too. Bloody awesome, can't wait to head back!

The food was amazing but some of the service left a lot to be desired. Got (not) welcomed by the most grumpy waitress ever. I was amazed how such a nice place could lose so much by someone's poor attitude. She took our drinks order even before we had the chance to look at the menu, we got rushed to order, we just felt bad for just being there. I never leave bad reviews but this women need to fix her attitude. We could see that the tables next to us were also embarrassed by her her.

Spectacular food, great ambience, friendly service. We had four mezzo dishes and all were superb. The butterflied king prawns were the best prawns I have ever eaten - and I have eaten a lot of prawns. Highly recommend.

Bad customer service. Food nothing special. Not the place to go for Lebanese food and hospitality.

Food and service was 5 Stars, I will definitely be heading back.

The good: the most delicious, fresh, beautifully presented Lebanese food you could ask for. The bad: a surly server (not sure if it was the owner) who argued with us about what we were ordering, insisted we couldn't order simply one plate of certain mezze, as we needed enough to share, and that apparently she knew better than us about how we wanted to eat. She mentioned something else about needing to leave in our allotted time (a genuine issue due to restrictions right now), but this had nothing to do with what we were ordering, and her condescension dampened our enthusiasm after the delicious bread and dips we started with. If not for the server, a 5 star experience. Given the server, not sure we want to go back, despite the amazing food (and friendly service of the other staff).

Fantastic food and service will certainly return again. This place would do very well near the Essendon area

Wowwweeeee best restaurant I have been so in a very very long time!!!!! Food is amazing, fantastic atmosphere, and to top it off the staff we’re super lovely! This is now my all time favourite restaurant and we will be back!

Wowww taken away by the breathtaking food and five star service. Will definitely be coming back to experience this middle eastern cuisine again!

Have been here so many times now and the food and cocktails have always been absolutely incredible! The staff are so lovely and the interior is amazing, such a good vibe in there. Can't wait to go back!
