59A Stanley Ave, Mount Waverley
Great Cafe, and friendly service!! More relaxed than other cafe's around, and amazingly created dishes.
Absolutely appalling human decency. When we arrived to sit down, a man came out and began berating three elderly people who had momentarily taken shelter under one of the umbrellas. We sat down briefly and decided that we were uncomfortable after the aggressive interaction. When we apologised and explained we would not be staying, we were accused of creating a big inconvenience and two staff members spoke very loudly negatively about us as we left. I have never experienced this type hostility in a cafe before.
Lovely staff, excellent coffee and great food. Very community minded and I have been regularly coming here since they opened and have never had a bad experience.
Excellent coffee with unusual tasty cakes and slices. Highly recommend.
Waiting for daughter (always!) & headed to this cafe to get some work done over breakfast. Owners were incredibly accommodating and friendly, and had water & glass at table immediately. I walked in not knowing the place was vegetarian and despite being a devout carnivore was able to find a dish that suited. The owner explained everything on the menu was made in store and this showed in appearance and taste. Would highly recommend this cafe to all in the area & will definitely revisit.
Great coffee and great service!
Bad experience. As regulars to Stanley Cafe next door we decided to try Ink mind core as we are all about supporting small businesses. We were quite disappointed. Not only was the coffee sub-par and tasted very burnt, but the customer service was inadequate and unfriendly. It seems as though the managers/workers have minimal to zero customer service skills. When we asked to come inside or to just take a look at the menu we were rudely told we could not and to look online. The staff suggested to ensure that next time we came “better prepared”. Which sounds so strange to me. Last but not least , I picked up the hand sanitiser to give a pump to my friend standing outside the door as she paid by cash, when the worker bluntly and loudly told me ‘DONT move it , put it back”. Given that we are in the middle of a pandemic, I find this sort of reaction puzzling. I would suggest more smiles, welcoming service and helpful suggestions for the future. Oh and for the coffee to not taste like its been chargrilled on the barbecue for 2 hours.
A cozy place with great cookies and food. Friendly owners.
Delicious vegetarian food with vegan/gluten free options. A bit on the expensive side though.
Not only does this place have great music, coffee, tap beer and vegan wines, the menu is entirely vegetarian with clearly marked vegan and gluten free options. The staff were welcoming and up for a chat which made the time fly by. Great place highly recommend!
