Il Cacciatore

Food, service and decore were excellent. My husband, son and I enjoyed the experience and will return.

The food was pretty good and the restaurant has a nice outlook over the vineyard and a small lake. Would have given 5 stars but the service was patchy and a bit slow. Still, we were not in a rush and had a relaxed long lunch here.

Very nice place for dinner. The wine selection was limited but that’s not uncommon in the hunter valley. The quality of everything including the food was great and service was very good. The tiramisu is fantastic! Make sure you take one home with you as well!

Outstanding experience. A visit to the Hunter would not be complete without a meal or two here. Super decor and ambience. Would most definitely come here everytime we're in the Hunter. Extremely courteous staff too.

It's been a number of years since I have dined at this restaurant, but it still provides great food, excellent service and a nice ambience. The menu is what you'd expect from an Italian restuarant, and is fresh, high quality and a very decent serving - add to this a well rounded Wine list and you will find Il Cacciatore to be a enjoyable lunch or dinner.

A wonderful restaurant in Pokolbin - the food is always divine and the service is fantastic. A beautiful setting looking onto the dam and listening to the bird-life. Also priced well for the valley and we return again and again for consistently delicious food whether it's dining in or taking away. 10/10 Il Cacciatore team, can't wait for our next visit!

Premium delicious food but let down by the average service. Seemed only one waiter could take wine orders, which is fine, but they never came to the table. The service experience as a whole was below par when compared to the food and prices.
