Ichiban Boshi

Good Food for a food hall.

Mostly you have what you pay. Just once the rice is not cook well. But generally the place I visit if I don't know what else to eat.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. I waited 5 minutes while they looked at me and continued to walk off, after the first 3 I noticed they turned off screens, but did not say anything to me or even acknowledge I was there. I eventually asked if they were closing to be told "yes but what do you want" I explained all I wanted was a bubble tea and got met with "oh, we can make that then" after being ignored on purpose for 5 minutes, I decided I would not be spending money at this store. Definitely need to work on their people skills if they're going to run a store.

Milk tea was drinkable. They use powder to make, can't change sugar level.

The food was not nice, udon soup has no taste. Service was fine.

I waited 23 minutes to place my order when I ask one of the employees if she can take my order she told me they are too busy and made inappropriate comment to her colleagues.

Whenever I get a chance to go to Morty’s Food Hall, I always get a bubble tea from Ichiban Boshi! These guys literally make the lushest bubble tea in the whole of Tasmania. As a vegetarian, I have often enjoyed their avocado and cucumber sushi, but my other half tried a meal there once which was disappointing… it looked nothing like the advertised picture and apparently tasted quite bland. BUT what they may lack in vegetarian options and great value for money, they more than deliver in excellent bubble tea, with a range of bases and toppings available. I highly recommend the taro tea with white pearl, mango, and passion fruit pops- you won’t be disappointed!

$10 for large chicken bowl and bubble deal is an absolute bargain. Good value and good service
