Hybla Tavern

When the Hybla asked us about food allergies in our booking we let them know. Unlike others, they took this seriously and contacted us to discuss our needs. This is how it should be and we were most impressed. We came for a meal, found some beer on tap from a local we knew and had a lovely experience. Our meals, a Chicken Burger and Pad Thai were good, the location was wonderful, sound levels pretty good for a tavern and there was plenty of space around each table. Recommended

Thoroughly enjoyed our steak last night, the peppercorn sauce was excellent. Great service and friendly staff.

Our family of 4 adults enjoyed a very relaxed mid week dinner, food was well presented, good sized meals, attentive service, a very pleasant evening.

Very impressed !! The place was busy with the car racing but we were served very quickly. Food is great and very generous servings, the staff were all EXTREMELY friendly and helpful and there is a very nice ambience in the place.

The steak sandwich was great. The range of beer on tap was decent. The views from the upstairs balcony were great. The staff were efficient and kind. The upstairs area could be revamped as it has the best views.

One of my favourite lunch venues in Albany. The Char Sui Chicken salad is delicious, staff friendly and great location for a stroll along the board walk afterwards. Every meal I've had here has been so yummy.

Great service and ambiance. Love the Bites menu, had the squid, wedges, arancini, fish tacos and spring rolls. Disappointed with the spring rolls, mince beef (tasty) but lacked texture.

Good cocktail specials 3-5 each day and Fridays. Most daily specials are 3-5 but could be better if extended to 6. Great view and dog friendly. Upstairs could be used better as has the best view. Food was generous and tasty.

Can't comment on the food as the staff were so unhelpful that we went around the corner and discovered the wonderful Rats Bar. Go there instead!

Great location even at night.suprisingly larger onside than it appears from out side and also has upstairs. Great sized mains and beer on tap.what else could you want. Also great cocktails to get you started.
