HUGO Asian resturant

Best asian food we have had. We came to Hobart for a few weeks and had food at Hugo every night that's how good it is.

Reasonable price for delicious Chinese cuisine. Can definitely come back soon for adventure other menus I haven't tried yet!

I would consider the meal 3.75 star. The food was served nice and hot, but I would try different dishes next time, with the exception of Blackbean Beef. There was too much MSG for my liking, which thickened the sauces too much, and took the flavours away from the meat. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was bland because of a thick batter and use of MSG which is unnecessary. I like the look of the fried shredded pork, and the pork belly on the lunch menu, but yet to taste. Improve the flavour and become a top restaurant.

Very good food! Although they could put another person at the front so they can serve us faster. Overall it’s a great place to eat with your family and friends.

As a Hong Konger, I would say some of their dishes like the sour pork, and braised beef with potato are really good with the fair price! However, the fish shown in the photo is not fresh as the fish smell is heavy and cost nearly $40 which is a bit disappointed. The service is average and I suggest there should be improvements in either the quality of food and the service. I would give 2.5 stars, a passing score.

When we come in to the restaurant, the front desk lady said order will take 30mins, but actually take more than 1 hour. The food was fine, but wait too long. The lady even served us the dishes and on the phone in the same time. I’m so disappointed with the service.

We had a pretty big group tonight and the waitress was amazing - they were short staffed but did a great job. Food was great - especially the bbq fish.

It was good, have a strong spicy flavour, this shop is also doing a lot of delivery. Worth to try.

The owner of this shop is very rude, The food is so unpalatable, only go once without reviewing it. And the owner not responsible. The foods waiting for 1 hours more and the taste is not nice . Wasting my time . Not recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff and taste good. It is very conveniently located near Coles Sandy Bay open until late night!
