Hobson's Gate Bar & Brassiere

Stopped in today for an unplanned lunch. We ordered steaks and a kids meal. They were all cooked perfectly. And the kids meal is a great size. also the sticky date pudding is amazing and big enough to share! We left very full and happy highly recommend!

Great selection of food, lots of and great prices. I had a fisherman's lunch which was gigantic and just one drink. Me driving. Great time, give it a go. Umm Umm.

My son and his fiancèe had their engagement party in an area set just for them. We we're told ''light finger food' was being organised. Everyone was very impressed with what came out. There was so much food, so much variety of both hot and cold food and so beautifully prepared and presented. Everyone had plenty to eat with much left over. The staff very friendly and efficient. Very impressed, highly recommend.

We got the wrong meals bought to the table, they argued that what they served was what we ordered, but as they never gave us the receipt for the table number order we could not prove we ordered differently and they refused to reproduce the receipt saying it was too hard to go back through the computer, which is total BS. As we'd already paid for the food before getting it we had no leg to stand on, basically you get what your given or go without. Sorry but well below any sort of customer service. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR RECEIPT.

Food was amazing. The JDs ribs are exceptional! Pair them with a steak and you have a steak and ribs feast that will keep a Viking happy.

Really great atmosphere and staff. Drinks and food well priced. I had the chicken filo which was huge and tasty. Could have done with a bit more salt in the cooking process for my liking but was still yum. Will definitely be back.

We had a beautiful lunch after recently arriving in Perth. The parmy and club sandwich were delicious and the young lady serving us was totally bubbly and lovely. Apparently they have an amazing roast lunch on a Sunday so looking forward to making that a regular. Thanks guys yum!!

This place as been around a long time and at least you say the meals are consistent

Big dining area, no issues getting a table when it was busy. Food was good, typical pub fare executed well - recommend the expansive specials menu for something different. Had all of our preferred drinks, draught beer selection was pretty basic but seems they rotate a craft beer through one tap so it's not always the same. Probably the best spot for family lunch north of Joondalup.
