Historic Pub

Awesome pub, great meals, cold beer and fantastic entertainment.

Great self-contained cabins. We travel with dogs and they stayed in the car overnight. They do have cabins where the dogs can stay on the verandah but they were booked out. Due to time constraints, we didn't get chance to enjoy the pub itself or explore the surrounding area. On our to-do list for next time though.

Outstanding country bar. Has a lot of history of visitors, so when you come through start up a yarn with one of the locals or a fellow traveller. You won't be let down.

Great place and awesome atmosphere, very busy during the Grey Nomad season, a must to see.

The place to be

Second time staying in Queen cabin. Clean and cool and comfortable bed. Highly recommend. Very impressed with concern shown when power cut during evening. Someone came round to explain situation and offer us more torches if we needed. Great hospitality. Thank you for a haven to rest up on our journey from Darwin to Ballarat.

Third time we have been there really enjoyed

I spent two months driving around the outback, and this was the best meal I had the whole time. Great atmosphere too, assuming you aren't a twisted panty wienie who gets offended at everything.

Stayed here in 2010 on a 12,500 km road trip.. Stayed in the caravan section. Incredible place heaps of entertainment..
