Foods normally pretty good but occasionally received burnt potato cakes. Prices are on the higher end. The owner is openly very rude and sarcastic which is what brings the whole place down.
The burgers at this place are absolutely fantastic. Nothing beats a home made burger. I highly recommend going to see Pete at Highside for there food and customer service. You won’t get any better in Yarra Glen 👌🏻
Worst fish and chip shop I’ve ever been to. Coffee was revolting, cold and they got my order wrong adding sugar. The guy who served us was extremely rude. Prices were ridiculous. Don’t waste your money at this horrible place. Wish I went back for a refund. If I could rate zero stars I would.
Very busy but wow the food was amazing! Burgers are massive and full of flavour . Fish and chips arnt full of oil and cooked perfectly inside and out
Nice burgers, good quality and good quantity
Stopped past for an easy dinner this evening and this place produced a pack of generous real lamb pieces, pita bread, greek salad and chips. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place - the service was terrific too. We will be back for sure.

I cannot fault the food, flake was white, batter crispy, yummy. Friends had a steak sandwich cooked exactly how she likes it. And hamburgers were huge. Very generous. Friendly serves. Best fish and chips just to far to travel to get them, but l will be back.
Amazing burgers and fish and chips. One gripe I have is the supposed open hours . Come on guys if you say you are going to be open then open. New to the area and walk down to get dinner and you are supposed to be open but no everything is closed Not great for business! Another day.. Sunday supposed to be open 1030am-830pm and its closed. Will go back to our old place on mooroolbark at least I know that one is open. Not happy guys
