The Haven Lounge

Party of 3 attended The Haven Lounge on Saturday for truffle high tea. The menu was exceptional and truffle flavour was subtle and enjoyable. The service from all staff was attentive and friendly, we genuinely felt welcomed and well looked after. Staff member Layla was extremely helpful via email with pregnancy friendly menu options. Surroundings are absolutely gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Thank you for such a lovely morning.

Received fantastic service back in August from Bryan and Lily Jeong (apologies if the names are spelt wrong, we tried to be subtle). They were both lovely and very knowledgeable on the drinks menu.

Amazing High Tea today at The Haven. Delicious morsels of food, decadent cocktails and exceptional service. Made for a wonderful afternoon. My daughter is vegetarian and they made it a genuine offering. Have been to other places and vegetarian high tea savoury options were disappointing

Service was very lacking and let the experience down - having to chase up tea and water, coffee/tea offered an hour after sitting down (2 hour sitting). Staff seem under-trained. The food was great and very generous, lovely decor.

I booked to have the Chandon in Bloom high tea with my sister and mum. When we arrived our table wasn’t set, it looked like someone else was using the table before us. We sat down and the waitress set the table but the table wasn’t wiped down. I rang the previous day to confirm my sister and I had gluten free, though mine wasn’t ready and I had to wait while my family were served. Most of the food was lovely, I know it can be hard to find good gf bread, but it was really dry. The drinks were lovely, but my sister had to ask the waitstaff again for her coffee. With all the confusion I did get a free mocktail and my mum got a free champagne, which was very kind of them. It was a lovely experience but I did expect better service, it’s the little things that was a let down. They could of told us to wait two minutes while you get the table ready, and they could of served us altogether instead of having to ask two wait staff where my food was. The service is not up to standard for a four star lounge.
