Harrigan's Hunter Valley

Great food and great accommodation!!! Perfect place to stay and really close to everything. Highly recommend this place and would come back again.

We had lunch hear when we first visited the hunter region. The food was pretty good and the pub has a nice atmosphere. The food was pretty tasty and well presented and most staff where pretty friendly.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning inside and out, the atmosphere was lovely as well. We hadn't booked in for dinner but the lady at the front door showed as where we could sit, handed us menu's and gave us instructions on how to order. We ordered 5 mains, the came out quickly and were absolutely delicious. Prices were reasonable for both food and beverage. The overall experience was extremely positive and we would love to return soon!

I loved it. Could found a couple of tipical Irish main dishes. The place is really nice, with a fire place for the cold days. Close to the hunter valley garden. Good to go for a drink or a meal

Food was great, came out quickly, and the portions were large. Unfortunately being a Friday night it was busy and loud, the bar staff couldn't hear our drinks order and we got random drinks. The food ordering set up was great.

Wonderful cosy atmosphere. Very friendly staff! We had calamari, schnitzel and confit duck. Milder flavours than what we are used to but tasty. Book ahead as it can be busy although we had no problem (Thursday night).

Comfortable room and amenities. Friendly and accomodating staff. Fantastic food. Hope to see you again.

View was excellent. Room layout was good. Carpets and furniture quite worn with stains. grout in bathroom quite brown/mouldy. Room service took away shower cap and didnt replace, toilet roll was low and not replaced, carpet not vacuumed. I paid extra for breakfast which was very disappointing the first morning. Bacon was not cooked properly, still had parts that looked raw, sausages looked and tasted like they were cooked in a microwave (couldn't even eat them the second morning) , Turkish bread toast couldn't be cut through with my knife & fork, hash browns were tough. Very disappointing as I had paid extra to have breakfast included and on site as it would be easier just to stroll down to the bistro. The outside area seemed dirty and was not swept to look tidy upon our arrival, large weeds also. I just think the whole place needs an update, then it would be very good.

Loved the atmoshere. I lived their chios and chicken snitty. Big serves and the atmosphere is really nice.

I don't usually write negative posts about Australian businesses because I want them to thrive but harrigans is not a place to spend your money. There are plenty of other winery or pubs around the area to enjoy yourself. So please avoid this place like a plague. Got asked to leave while ordering dinner and didn't even give us a reason why. I understand if my friend and i was intoxicated but that was not the case. Im not here to make a story but will never visit this place again. The hunter valley is full of perfect places to spend your time and money without the drama of their unprofessional staff and security. I suggest a they re-evaluate the people they have working for them to ensure the business runs smoothly.
